Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Karkinium Cancer Council (KCC), we value every contribution and strive to ensure full transparency and accountability in how funds are utilized. Because each donation or payment supports life-saving and awareness activities, we follow the policy outlined below.

1. Donations

All donations made to KCC are treated as final and non-refundable, as funds are immediately directed toward ongoing cancer-related programs and humanitarian initiatives.

Donors are encouraged to verify the details of their contribution before making payment.

In exceptional cases of duplicate transactions or technical errors, a refund may be considered upon written request (see Section 4).

2. Event & Training Fees

Fees paid for workshops, awareness drives, or training sessions are non-refundable once the participant has been confirmed.

In the event of cancellation by KCC (e.g., unforeseen emergencies), the participant may choose either a full refund or credit toward a future program.

3. Membership or Partnership Fees

Paid memberships, collaborations, or CSR partnership contributions are non-refundable once processed, as they fund community operations and digital infrastructure.

In case of administrative error, members can contact the KCC accounts department within 7 working days of payment.

4. Refund Process (Technical or Duplicate Transactions)

If a donor or participant believes a transaction has been made in error:

Submit a written request to finance@karkiniumcancercouncil.com or karkiniumcancercouncil@gmail.com within 7 days of the transaction.
Provide full details: transaction ID, payment date, amount, and mode of payment.
After internal verification and confirmation from our payment gateway/bank, eligible refunds will be processed within 10–15 working days.

Refunds (if approved) will be issued only to the same account or card used for the original transaction.

5. Cancellation by KCC

KCC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event, campaign, or program due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, regulatory restrictions, or emergencies.

In such cases, affected donors or participants will be notified promptly, and alternative solutions or refunds (if applicable) will be offered.

6. Tax Exemption Receipts

Once issued, donation receipts under applicable tax laws (80G / 12A, when available) cannot be canceled or re-issued for refunded transactions.
