1. Purpose of Donations

Karkinium Cancer Council (KCC) is a non-profit organization registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

All donations collected through this platform are used solely for charitable and humanitarian purposes including:

Cancer patient treatment and emergency support
Awareness and early detection campaigns
Rehabilitation, skill training, and survivor welfare
Research, data collection, and education programs

Every rupee received is directed toward saving lives, supporting patients, and creating a cancer-aware society.

2. Transparency & Utilization

We maintain complete transparency in the utilization of donated funds. All donations are accounted for and audited as per government norms. Expenditure reports may be shared upon donor request, respecting privacy and internal audit policies.

KCC does not deduct any hidden or personal commission. Administrative expenses, if any, are minimal and used only for operational sustainability (such as awareness materials, volunteer support, or platform maintenance).

3. Nature of Donation

All donations to KCC are voluntary and non-refundable. Once a donation has been processed, it cannot be canceled or claimed back, except in case of a proven technical error.

Donors are encouraged to verify their details carefully before making payments.

4. Mode of Donation

Donations can be made via:

Our official website donation portal
Direct bank transfers or UPI payments to verified KCC accounts
Authorized fundraising partners and verified field volunteers
Approved CSR partnerships or institutional support

⚠️ KCC will never ask for personal banking details or OTP through messages or calls.
Please verify any fundraising campaign before contributing.

5. Receipts & Acknowledgments

All verified donations will receive an official e-receipt via registered email. Physical receipts may be issued upon written request.

Donations eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G will be issued certificates once KCC’s approval is obtained from the Income Tax Department.

6. Fundraising Campaigns & Third Parties

KCC may collaborate with digital fundraising platforms (like Ketto or Milaap) or individual volunteers to support verified cancer patients. All such campaigns will clearly mention Karkinium Cancer Council’s official credentials.

We strongly advise donors to contribute only through verified campaign links displayed on our website.

7. Misuse or False Claims

KCC is not responsible for any fundraising activity or individuals claiming to represent us without written authorization. If you suspect misuse of our name or logo, please report immediately to:

8. Donation Allocation

Funds may be allocated based on:

Urgency of patient cases
Severity and affordability
Priority of awareness or medical projects
Long-term sustainable programs (like cancer care homes, chemo centers, and research wings)

All allocations are made with integrity, compassion, and medical verification.

9. Donor Privacy

10. Limitation of Liability

KCC shall not be liable for any loss, claim, or damages arising from:

Transaction failures due to network or payment gateway issues
Errors in donation amount or donor data
Misuse of unauthorized fundraising sources

KCC reserves the right to update this Donation Disclaimer at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the new effective date.
